Talking to students is one of my favorite parts of being an author! Each school visit is different based on the class, the teacher, the text, etc. We will discuss some of this in advance, but we'll also figure out some things naturally as we go.

Hosting an author at your school or library is a great way to get students excited about reading and writing. My novel, What the Fireflies Knew, is a perfect discussion text for high school and college students, featuring themes of identity, family, grief, and navigating the challenges we face when coming-of-age.
