The Diary of a Writer

As you may have noticed, I recently changed the title of the blog. It was once titled “Almost 30”, an ode to an approaching milestone age and its accompanying changes. But now that I am wayyyyy past 30 🙂 I figured it was time for a change.

Here’s what happened next:

I took a look at the blog to determine what it is that I’m really writing about. And I realized that DUH, it’s all about writing. Hence, the new title and theme:

Almost Published: The Diary of a Writer

Within this theme, I will continue to write about writing and my journey as a writer, but also about myself and my journey as a woman/mother/wife etc. My hope is that this blog will give my readers a glimpse into all that goes into trying to become a published novelist, in the midst of everything else that life entails.

Here are three promises:

1. I will be honest and humorous and (hopefully) helpful.

2. I will post on a regular schedule, to enhance my habits as a writer.

3. I will write.
